TIE Programme
Trips for Internationalisation Experience (TIE) Programme
In Townsville, our TIE programme aims to broaden students' horizons through overseas immersion experiences that develop global awareness and essential 21st Century skills.
IN 2025, two overseas trips were organised for groups of P5 and P6 students to Shenzhen, China and Perth, Australia. These overseas learning journeys help our young learners understand diverse cultures whilst deepening their appreciation for Singapore, preparing them to thrive as confident global citizens in our interconnected world.
China – Shenzhen
School: Nanshan OCT Primary School and Shenwan Primary School
A group of Primary 5 and 6 students visited Shenzhen, China where activities were designed to extend their learning beyond the classroom. Through authentic cultural exchanges, the students interacted with their local peers, broadened their worldview and gained a deeper appreciation of China’s rich heritage and culture.
