Teaching Approach
Science is formally introduced in Primary 3, in line with the MOE Primary Science Syllabus. Adopting an inquiry-based approach to learning, students investigate problems and search for possible solutions by asking questions, making observations, testing hypotheses, and applying critical thinking, as well as developing explanations supported by evidence.
Through the implementation of this syllabus, the Science Department aims to:

Equip pupils with scientific knowledge and skills, and instill in them the attitudes and ethics of young scientists;

Raise the competency of Science teachers to better nurture young scientists;

Maintain a strong culture of collaboration with key stakeholders and the community;
Take collaborative action to promote environmental responsibility.
